ABOUT APRE
We kept saying,
“People need to try this.”
After years around restaurants, some of our favourite food memories never made the menu: a chef’s childhood dish, an experiment shared over a staff meal, a plate passed across the chef’s table with, “You have to try this.” Some become menu favourites. Others stay between the people lucky enough to be there.
APRE takes its name from après—“after.” After the rush, when the team sits down, shares a meal and lets you in on what’s happening in the kitchen. We wanted more people to experience that.
Vancouver crosses town for something new and rare. We wanted to open that kitchen door a little wider—and give you your own “you need to try this” moment.

How do drops work?+
We reveal the maker, the creation, the price and the pickup details. You preorder the drops you want, then pick up from the featured kitchen. Join the list to hear when our first collaboration drops.
Is there a membership fee?+
No. The list is free. You only pay when you choose to buy a drop—there’s no recurring food subscription.
Where and when do I pick up?+
Our drops are local to Metro Vancouver. Each drop will show its pickup location and pickup window before you order.
Who makes the food?+
The Metro Vancouver chefs, bakers and independent makers behind each collaboration. You’ll meet them in the story of every drop and know exactly whose kitchen your food comes from. Each creation is made by the featured partner, exclusively for APRE.

APRE is a place for Metro Vancouver’s chefs, bakers and makers to bring those ideas to life. Together, we create a drop available only through APRE—and invite the city to discover the people behind it.
You bring the creation. Together, we tell its story—from the first idea to the finished dish—and introduce your kitchen to food lovers across our local media channels. A limited drop gives people something new to try, share and talk about.
